Inauguration of Thai Loc An bridge sponsored by Tue Tam VH Group (Ho Chi Minh city)

On the morning of August 16, the Provincial Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin, Support for People with Disabilities and Protection of Children's Rights, along with the Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations, in collaboration with the People's Committee of Song Loc Commune and Tue Tam VH Group - Ho Chi Minh City (sponsor), held the inauguration ceremony of Thai Loc An Bridge in O Bap Hamlet (formerly Dai Ten Hamlet), Song Loc Commune.

Attending the inauguration ceremony were Mr. Vo Van Hoang, Vice Chairman of the Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin, Support for People with Disabilities and Protection of Children's Rights; Mr. Duong Quoc Nhan, Deputy Head of the Foreign Affairs Department of the Union of Friendship Organizations; Mr. Vo Van Phuong, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Song Loc commune; representatives of the sponsor, Tue Tam VH Group - Ho Chi Minh City; along with representatives of local households.

Tue Tam VH Group giving gifts to people in Song Loc commune

Based on the actual needs of the locality, through the efforts of the Union of Friendship Organizations and the Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin, the Protection of Persons with Disabilities and the Protection of Children's Rights, Tue Tam VH Group – Ho Chi Minh City has decided to sponsor the Thai Loc An Bridge project, also known as Tue Tam 530 Bridge. The bridge is 24 meters long and 3.5 meters wide, with a load capacity of 3 tons and a total cost of  251 million VND. In which, Tue Tam VH Group supported 201 million VND, localities and people contributed 50 million VND. On this occasion, Tue Tam VH Group also presented 24 gifts to students and poor households in the commune, with each gift valued at 550,000 VND.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Vo Van Phuong, Vice Chairman of the Song Loc Commune People's Committee, said that the Thai Loc An Bridge, now in operation, would make it easier for local residents to travel and transport agricultural products. The bridge also improves connectivity between residential areas and surrounding roads, thereby contributing to local trade and economic development. He also expressed his sincere thanks to the donor and provincial agencies and units for their attention and support for the locality in recent years; also, he hoped that Song Loc commune will continue to be supported to build more rural traffic bridges in the coming time.
